Deep-tech semiconductor engineering firm Logic Fruit Technologies has introduced L-QNTX™, an integrated portfolio of quantum-safe hardware security solutions designed to protect critical infrastructure, data centers, and embedded platforms against emerging quantum computing threats.
The product suite encompasses licensable cryptographic Soft IP for FPGA and ASIC architectures, an embedded hardware root of trust, PCIe security accelerator cards, and network-attached Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). By spanning the stack from on-chip silicon macros to rack-level appliances, the platform establishes a unified, crypto-agile architecture across distributed computing tiers.
Current digital infrastructure relies heavily on asymmetric public-key algorithms such as RSA and elliptic-curve cryptography (ECC). The eventual arrival of cryptographically relevant quantum computers poses a severe threat to these mathematical frameworks, alongside immediate risks such as “harvest now, decrypt later” attacks.
To bridge this operational transition, L-QNTX™ supports both legacy and quantum-resistant algorithms within classical, post-quantum, and hybrid configurations. The architecture incorporates the latest NIST-standardized Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standards, including ML-KEM (FIPS 203) for key encapsulation, alongside ML-DSA (FIPS 204) and SLH-DSA (FIPS 205) for digital signatures.
Targeting high-assurance industrial, aerospace, and communication designs, the embedded Soft IP delivers core security building blocks such as authenticated firmware updates, hardware-enforced boot validation, protected key storage, and physical tamper-mitigation mechanisms.
“Post-quantum migration is not simply an algorithm replacement,” stated Sunil Kar, President and CEO of Logic Fruit Technologies. “It is an infrastructure transition that extends from silicon and secure boot through device identity, key management, PKI, and datacenter security. L-QNTX™ is being developed to provide a common crypto-agile architecture that supports existing cryptographic infrastructure while providing a practical path to post-quantum security as standards, protocols, and certification requirements evolve.”
Logic Fruit plans to open its Early Evaluation Program in Q2 2027 for qualified semiconductor developers, OEMs, and cloud infrastructure partners. Commercial availability of the initial L-QNTX™ Soft IP cores and HSM modules is slated for August 2027.
